Accordions of Witney

Published by Murray under Teaching

On the weekend of 21/22 February 2009 I will be one of the tutors at the accordion weekend in Witney in Oxfordshire. These are great weekends where you get the chance to work with some of the top players and teachers around in the company of fellow players! Have a look at http://www.whitecottagewebsites.co.uk/homweekends/accordions.htm for more details

Part of working with orchestras is the waiting! Here is a picture of me in the dressing room at the Hackney Empire on Thursday, waiting for my piece!

Birmingham Royal Ballet and the National Opera Studio

Published by Murray under Performances

Well I am off to London again this week for a couple of gigs with the Royal Ballet Sinfonia and the National Opera Studio, performing Act Two from Janacek’s Cunning Little Vixen.

The concerts are at the Hackney Empire on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th June. At the first rehearsal I was pleased to see it was to be conducted by David Parry, who conducted Pinnochio on the recent tour. David is always fun to work with and I am sure it will be ‘Marvelous’!
